Speaker: Snehal Amin, MD, DAAD;
Bio: Dr Snehal Amin is a clinical assistant professor of dermatology in the Department of Dermatology at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City. He is also surgical director, senior partner, and founder of MDCS: Medical Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery, a private practice in New York City and Long Island, NY.
After earning his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, NY, Dr Amin completed a residency in dermatology at Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, and pursued a fellowship in Mohs, laser, and cosmetic surgery with the Skin Laser and Surgery Specialists of New York and New Jersey. He is board certified in dermatology and received certification from the American College of Mohs Surgery.
Dr Amin has authored 20 publications and is a member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, American Academy of Dermatology, and the International Society for Dermatologic Surgery. In addition to English, Dr Amin is fluent in Gujarati and conversational in Spanish and Hindi.
Speaker: Francis Arena, MD, FACP
Bio: Dr Francis Arena is the medical director at NYU Langone Arena Oncology and Integration, NYU Winthrop Oncology. He is a clinical professor in the Department of Medicine at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. He is additionally affiliated with New York Presbyterian Hospital, Long Island Jewish Medical Center, North Shore University Hospital, and Peconic Bay Medical Center. He is board certified in internal medicine and medical oncology.
Dr Arena received his MD from Cornell and completed both his internship and residency at New York Hospital/Memorial Hospital. He is a former chief medical resident and hematology/oncology fellow at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He is the president and director of research for the Sass Foundation for Medical Research. He has been named a Top Ten Doctor of Long Island since 2008, and he received the Arena Humanitarian Award from New York Hematology Oncology Association in 2019.
Dr Arena serves as the editor in chief for Oncomedicine and on the editorial board for the Journal of Cancer. He has presented at numerous national and international conferences, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the World Congress on Gastrointestinal Cancer. He has published over 60 peer-reviewed journal articles. He is a member of numerous professional societies, including the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Medical Association.
